Aurora Car Night Tour

A special tour to a special place. Join us on a tour by car to one of the worlds best places to see the Aurora Borealis. Because of it’s good location it is know for many clear nights. Watch the Northern light show, take some amazing pictures and enjoy some warm drinks! Maybe a fire to grill some hotdogs if conditions are good. Our guides are professional aurora photographers with dozens of years experience of Aurora photography so it is always possible to get our own photos we take during the tour, both as digital copies and printed copies up to width 1,2 m size. We have professional printing avaliability both on paper, plastic, canvas for your choice of purchase.
Your guide picks you up at 7 PM at your accommodation in Kiruna. From there we make our way to the west and pass small villages and wide open swap areas, parallel to the railroad of the iron ore train. Sometimes you can even see Swedish wildlife like reindeer or moose close to the road. In Abisko we take a walk to the frozen lake Torneträsk which gives us a perfect location to watch the Aurora Borealis! You will be back at your accommodation around midnight.
ADDITIONAL Information
Transfer from Kiruna and Swedish Fika (drink and snack) are included in the tour price.
Please inform us about any food allergies.
Meeting point for transfer will be the reception area at your accommodation. Please be ready to leave 10 minutes before the starting time of the tour. Please also note that the pick-up time may be slightly delayed depending on the pick-up locations of other participants.
Remember to bring your camera, tripod and extra batteries!
Warm clothes are recommended!

Pickup time can be altered depending on weather conditions for optimal opportunity of Aurora.
